Pleiades, the seven sisters Alcyone, Asterope, Electra, Maia, Merope, Taygeta and Celaeno and their parents, `father` Atlas and `mother` Pleione, are the brightest between 500 stars of this spectacular and well-known open star cluster. The cluster is located almost 440 light years away.
