Clovelly is a harbour village in the Torridge district of Devon, England. Its steep pedestrianised cobbled main street, donkeys and views over the Bristol Channel attract numerous tourists. Clovelly was a solely agricultural parish with no harbour until the late 16th century when the stone pier was erected, thus providing the only haven on this coast between Appledore and Boscastle. |
