The fountain of Apollo is located in the south-east corner of the Old Market Square , in the place of one of four historic wells that for years supplied the inhabitants of Poznan with water. The fountain has an octagonal shape, it is made of sandstone. At its top there is a bronze statue of Apollo. Beside you can see the magnificent Poznan Town Hall.
