Desert rose (Adenium obesum), belonging to the dogbane family of Apocynaceae, is a poisonous species of flowering plant. It is native to tropical and subtropical eastern and southern Africa and Arabia. Common names include Sabi star, kudu, mock azalea, impala lily. The flowers tend to be red and pink, often with a whitish blush outward of the throat. |
