| The clootie well at Munlochy, Black Isle, Scotland. With its roots in ancient pagan and Celtic beliefs this well is one of the last remaining, and the most famous, in Scotland. Tying a strip of cloth around one of the trees beside the well is believed to cure all sorts of ailments and troubles. |
