Church of Santa Paola in Mantua, Romanesque-style building, first burial place of Isabella d'Este. The church, with an adjoining monastery dedicated to the Body of Christ, was built at the beginning of the fifteenth century at the behest of Paola Malatesta, wife of Gianfrancesco Gonzaga, fifth captain of the people of Mantua to house the Franciscan Poor Clares.
