This is a picture of a crucifix on the facade of St. Peter's Church located in the Loop of Chicago, Illinois. The crucifix was designed by Arvid Strauss and executed by J. Watts. The crucifix is situated in a Gothic Arch on the facade, it weighs 26 tons, stands 18 feet tall, is made of Georgia pink marble, and was erected in 1953.
