| Chongqing Shimen Jialing River Bridge is located between Zhongdukou in Shapingba District and Dashiba in Jiangbei District. It is an urban bridge that spans the Jialing River to connect the industrial areas on both sides of the river, and connects Hanyu Road and Yurong Road, important external highways in Chongqing. It plays an important role in improving the road network structure and forming circular traffic. The main bridge of the bridge consists of a single-sided prestressed concrete cable-stayed bridge and a prestressed concrete continuous bridge. It was completed on December 25, 1988. It was the bridge with the largest span among similar bridges in my country at that time and reached the international advanced level, which marked that the bridge construction technology in Chongqing had reached the international first-class level. |
