Jing `an Temple, located in Jing `an District, Shanghai. With a total construction area of 22,000 square meters, the whole temple forms the pattern of front and back pagodas. It is composed of three main buildings, namely, The Hall of the Great Hero, the Hall of the Heavenly King and the Three Temples. It is the oldest Buddhist temple in Shanghai. The architectural style of Jing `an Temple is the imitation of the architectural style before Ming Dynasty. The typical representative is the shape and structure of dougong.
