| A woman models a replica of a Chinese Imperial robe, which prominently features representations of the phoenix, the symbol of the Empress. The costume was featured in a multicultural fashion show, put on by the Vismaya Dance Academy, during Multicultural Heritage- Music & Movement, a public event sponsored by the Vancouver Cantonese Opera and the Government of Canada. This event took place on June 23, 2012, at the CBC Outdoor Stage, in Vancouver, British Columbia. |
