| Bangladesh, CharBurhan village on the island of Charkajal, Bay of Bengal: No country in the world is so vulnerable to climate change and floodings. These people have problems of flooding and sometimes they have days to live on a mound, islet. The country is becoming more common due to global warming and longer flooded by the waters of the rivers and the sea level rise and the heavy rainfall during the monsoon. The reed huts of these men, women and children, are completely surrounded by water. Some of the villagers are waiting on the eroding bank on a boat, to flying to safer places. They are on the run from the water flood. |
