Since December 12, 1997 the decree of the president of the Russian Federation of December 8, 1997 has established a constant post of guard of honor from structure of the Presidential regiment at the Eternal flame on the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Moscow. According to the decree, changing of the guard on a post happens daily each hour from eight to 20 o`clock.
