| This German cemetery is near Yuste Monastery, which is situated in the Spanish province of Cáceres. It has the corpses of 180 German soldiers whom belonged to crews of eight German submarines and also to the German Air Forces who fought in WWII and WWI as well. Some of these soldiers were only teenagers with different ranks when they died. Every grave in this cemetery has a dark gray cross made in granite and where we can read names, ranks, birth date and also death date. Some of the graves has written a well known epitaph...unknown soldier. |
