The castle of Populonia in Italy was built in the 15th century during the Seignory of the Appiani Family for defensive purpose. It was belonging to the ancient etruscan walls of Populonia and an example of the Italian feudal fortress. It rises on the top of the hill that overlooks the Tuscan Archipelago and the Bay of Baratti.
