The Castle of Old Wick is on the coast about one kilometre south of Wick, Caithness, Scotland. This ruin is the best preserved Norse castle in Scotland. Dating from the 12th-century, this spectacular site is on a spine of rock projecting into the sea, between two deep, narrow cliffs. |
