This imposing, Norman style ruined castle, was built around 1270, but the site it stands on had been used for military purposes for over 2000 years. It was built by the Carew family, whose descendants still own it to this day, but lease it to the Pembrokeshire coast national park. It is almost entirely built of Limestone. |
