The supreme court upheld president obama's health care plan allowing an additional 33 million people in the united states to be covered by health insurance. Preexisting conditions and discrimination based on age or gender are no longer allowed. Opponents of the law do not like the fine that can be imposed on those who do not have health insurance coverage. Other objections are rationing of medical care as well as possible lowering of standards to allow more people access.
