| Three camels run towards the finish line, pursued by hoards of vehicles honking their horns to encourage the camels to run faster. Camel racing is a very lucrative sport in the middle east, very popular in the winter months. The cars chase the camels, honking horns in order to make them run faster. Small radio controlled electronic jockeys are strapped to the camels' backs with a small whip. Weekly races attract prize money in the region of tens of thousands of US Dollars.
