This plant looks very much like the Poppy, but has yellow or orange flowers. Formerly Meconopsis cambrica, but nowadays Papaver cambricum. The plant belongs to the Poppy family that is especially popular as a garden plant. Via the gardens this plant becomes wild and within urban areas it grows more and more in the open space along paving, under hedges and on fallow land.
