| Calycoseris wrightii, commonly known as white tackstem, is an annual spring wildflower, one of two species in the genus Calycoseris. It is native to the southern California desert regions of the United States. - Desert landscape called The Borrego Badlands, in Anza-Borrego Desert State Park in Southern California. One of the best places to get a look at the Badlandsâ surreal scene is at Fontâs Point, nicknamed Californiaâs Grand Canyon.
