Moscow Riga Railway Terminal or Rizhsky station is one of the nine main railway stations in Moscow, Russia. The station is located at Rizhskaya Square, at the crossing of and it is adjacent to a Holiday Inn hotel, a large shoppig centre and numerous Moscow residental houses and offices. The station is served by Rizhskaya metro station. Rizhskiy Station is relatively the least busiest station in Moscow, its single active destination is connection with Latvia through some important centres of Tver, Pskov and Novgorod region. The building of Rizhsky station was erected in 1901. Rizhskiy Station has some of the best architecture of all the Moscow `vokzals`. The station building stands out by its facade in pseudo-Russian style with elements of architecture of the XVII century. The building consists of three towers connected by covered walkways of the first floor. Riga station became a shooting location for scenes in several soviet and russian films. As well as being an active station it also houses the Moscow Railway Museum.
