Iochroma cyaneum is a plant species belonging to the family Solanaceae in the order Solanales, suborder Rosaceae, order Asteroidea, and family Solanaceae. Suitable for full sunlight or semi sunlight environments, not drought tolerant, toxic throughout the plant, evergreen shrub, tree height can reach 3 meters, tender branches are green and hairy, and old branches are dark brown. The alternate elliptical leaves are hairy, with a length of about 8-10 centimeters and a width of about 5 centimeters. The leaf edges are wavy, and there are two supporting leaves at the base of the leaf. The umbrella shaped inflorescence blooms in the axils of the branches and near branches, with a bell shaped sepal and a long tube shaped flower. The corolla is 10 shallowly lobed, with a length of about 5 centimeters and a diameter of about 1 centimeter. The flowering period is irregular throughout the year.
