| Camellia petelotii is an evergreen shrub of the Camellia genus in the Theaceae family. The evergreen forest, distributed in the limestone mountains of southern Guangxi and northern Vietnam, is a second-class protected plant in China. I prefer warm and moist soil with good drainage, but I am not resistant to strong light.Leaves leathery, oblong or lanceolate, base wedge-shaped, dark green on top, shiny, hairless, light green on bottom, hairless, with black glandular dots, 7 pairs of midrib and lateral veins, sunken on top, raised on bottom, with fine serrations on the edges Sepals 5, petals 10-14, golden yellow, fleshy, numerous stamens, flowering period from December to March of the following year The capsule is flattened and spherical, with brown seeds and sparse yellow brown soft hairs. |
