In the month of July, the full moon is called the Buck Moon or Thunder, Hay or Wort Moon.
The name Buck Moon was named after the male deer when they shed their antlers and grow new ones each year.
The name Thunder Moon came into being due to the frequent thunderstorms in the summer.
The Hay Moon after the hay harvest takes place in July.
The Wart Moon meaning it`s time to gather herbs worts to dry and use as spices and remedies.
Next years Buck Moon 2020 will fall on July 4th.
