Justice Palace is na icon of Brussels. It was open in October 15 th of 1883 and it is a project from the architect Joseph Poelaert during the Leopld II king administration. Situated today in the Poelaert Square, it has a total área of 52462 m2, the greater Justice Palace all around the world and a building greater than St. Peter Basilique in Rome. It was bombed by the defeated Germans in September 1944, provoking damages in the dome and an huge fire. Built in na ecletic style, it is in a rebuilt process since 2008 and it was proposed as world heritage by UNESCO
