The coovered wooden cantilever bridge crossing the Pho Chhu river at the Punakha Dzong, Punakha, Bhutan. Punakha Dzong is the administrative centre of Punakha District. It was was built toghether with the dzong in 1637-38 by Ngawang Namgyal, 1st Zabdrung Rimpoche. The Dzong is located at the confluence of the Pho Chhu and Mo Chhu rivers and it is the second oldest and second largest dzong in Bhuta |
