| ÃÅumil is one of the most famous statues in Bratislava and one of the biggest attractions in the city center.ÃÅumil is a bronze statue by sculptor, academic painter, graphic artist and artist Viktor HulÃÂk.It was mounted on July 26, 1997 at an event called Korzo Party, to celebrate the reconstructed and renewed pedestrian zone. Thirty thousand people together with the President of Slovakia Michal Kováàattended the party. Part of the action was the installation of two other statues of Schöne Naci and Napoleonic soldier Since its installation, the statue of ÃÅumil has become one of the most photographed sculptures in Bratislava. It is located at the intersection of Laurinská, Panská and Rybárska Gate streets. |
