| Boyana Waterfall is the name of a waterfall on Boyana River, located near Sofia, about 5 km from the center of Boyana. It is the biggest waterfall on the territory of Vitosha mountain. The water falls from a height of 25 m. The area where the waterfall is located has kept its nature relatively unpolluted. On clear spring days the Boyana waterfall can be seen from the center of Sofia. During the melting of the snow in the high parts of Vitosha it is the most crowded and its wild splashes differ among the forest, seen for example from the National Palace of Culture. |
