| A fresh raw fish salad consisting of cubes or cutlets of salmon and tuna. A truly Asian dish, particularly Japanese. It is a popular appetizer for those who love sushi and sashimi. Other ingredients are wakame (green seaweed), fish roe (eggs) salad, and garnished with dried bonito flakes with black and white sesame seeds and bits of nori (black seaweed). Dressing is a mixture of Mirin, Ponzu Sauce, Tamari, minced fresh garlic, Sesame Oil and Sake (optional). |
