Pictured is Giovanni Antonio Boltraffio, part of a monument to Leonardo Da Vinci in Piazza della Scala Square, Milan, Italy. It was sculpted by Pietro Magni and erected in 1872. At the foot of the pedestal stand his four favorite students. Boltraffio was the main pupil of Leonardo in Milan. He was first recorded in Leonardo`s studio in 1491. Reliefs depict some of the disciplines that da Vinci mastered: painting, sculpting, engineering and architecture.
