| These modern high blue skyscrapers are built in the neighbourhood of the new Central Station of Rotterdam city. Rotterdam is the second-largest city in the Netherlands and one of the largest ports in the world. Starting as a dam constructed in 1270 on the Rotte River, Rotterdam has grown into a major international commercial centre. The little silver triangle in the front is a part of Central Station canopy. On the city centre side the station exhibits a new grandeur that is in keeping with the dimensions of the imposing high-rise buildings that characterize the entrance to the city. |
