| Bloodberry (Rivina humilis) is a species of evergreen perennial flowering plant in the family Petiveriaceae. It was formerly placed in the pokeweed family, Phytolaccaceae. Other common names include dogblood, baby peppers, pigeonberry, rougeplant and coralito. It is an erect, vine-like herb. Leaves are green, flowers are on racemes with a peduncle. Sepals are white or green to pink or purplish. Fruits are glossy, bright red berries. |
