Also known as Mock olive, the Black tea tree, Melaleuca bracteate, is endemic to the Northern part of Australia, that is normally a bush, but can continue growing into a tree, under good conditions. The indigious Austrailians have used the tree for both medicinal and household uses. Modern Australians have learned to use the essential oils for various uses. As seen in the San Francisco Botanical Garden of Golden Gate Park 23 March 2022.
