| Black Point gives a beautiful view of Hells Canyon just south of Hells Canyon Dam on the Idaho side. This sign gives a little bit of history on the area. Hells Canyon in is the deepest canyon in North America. It runs along the eastern boarders of Oregon and Washington and the western boarder of Idaho. The Snake River runs through this canyon. Idaho Power is responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of the three 3 dams that are in this area. |
