| Pictured is a bison calf in the Tulsa Herd Grand Monument at LaFortune Park in Tulsa, Oklahoma. NatureWorks is building the privately funded monument. NatureWorks is a volunteer organization that partners with local, state, and national organizations to preserve and protect Oklahoma wildlife and their habitats. It is one of the group of four bison installed in March of 2023. The completed project will span half and acre and have more than 40 bronze American bison statues. |
