| Coffs Harbour is a community located on the north coast of New South Wales, Australia, built almost entirely around the farming of bananas. Banana plantations were started in the Coffs Harbour area in the 1890`s. Coffs Harbour NSW is also home to a popular tourist attraction and amusement park, The Big Banana, featuring a large walk-through banana. Built in 1964, it was one of Australia`s first Big Things. |
