Benjamin Netanyahu, has served twice as Israeli Prime Minister: from 1996-1999 and from 2009 until the present. This photo was taken of Netanyahu in the Prime Minister's Office in Jerusalem, Israel, prior to a cabinet meeting, on July 20, 1997. He received his high school education outside of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and got an undergraduate degree in architecture from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Master's Degree in Business from MIT as well. Nicknamed Bibi, Benjamin (or Binyamin, in Hebrew) Netanyahu has held many key roles in the Israeli government. He was Israel's Ambassador to the United Nations as well as holding cabinet positions of Foreign Minister and Finance Minister. Head of a right-of center coalition government since 2009, he is head of the Likud Party. The official emblem of Israel appears on the wall.
