The old city of Salamanca was declared a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1988. Church of La Clerecia is of Baroque style and his building started in 1617. The Clerecia name is because it belonged to the Real Clerecia de San Marcos after the expulsion of Jesuitas. La Clerecia currently houses the Pontificial University.
