Beetroot halwa, also known as Chukandar ka halwa, is a vibrant and flavorful Indian dessert made primarily from grated beetroot, sugar, ghee, and cardamom. The halwa is characterized by its deep reddish-purple hue, soft and slightly sticky texture, and a rich, sweet taste with subtle earthy notes from the beetroot. It is often garnished with nuts like cashews or almonds, as seen in the image, which adds a pleasant crunch and enhances its visual appeal.
