| Zhongshan Hall is a public facility (public hall) located in Zhongzheng District, Taipei City, Taiwan. It was completed in 1936 during the Japanese colonial period. It was called Taipei Public Hall at the time and was the work of Japanese architect Kaoru Ide. In 1945, during Taiwan's post-war period, it was renamed to its current name and taken over by the Taipei City Government. In January 1992, the building was designated as a Class II historic site (now a municipal historic site) under the name Taipei Public Hall by the Ministry of Interior of the Republic of China. |
