| Broome is a coastal town in the Kimberley region of Western Australia and Broome is on a peninsula called Dampier Peninsula which features many stunning landscapes including the turquoise lake featured in this photograph. About 50km north of Broome is a pearl farm called Willie Creek Pearl Farm and the turquoise lake is quite literally a part of the Willie Creek ecosystem. Despite the water's beautiful color, it's actually full of crocodiles and so, tourists are advised not to swim. |
