| Barelang Bridge, short for Batam, Rempang and Galang, is a series of bridges that connect the islands, namely Batam Island, Jaga Island, Nipah Island, Rempang Island, Galang Island and Galang Baru Island in the Batam region, Riau Islands Province, Indonesia. The local people call it the Barelang Bridge, this bridge was built for 6 years from 1992 to 1998 totaling 6 years to connect the Trans Barelang route which stretches for 54 kilometers. |
