Bamian Mountain is located in the south of Longshan County, Xiangxi Autonomous Prefecture, Hunan Province. It borders Youyang County and Xiushan County of Chongqing City to the west and is a huge karst plateau. The mountain is surrounded by sheer cliffs, while the summit is flat, with an altitude of over 1,200 meters and a total area of approximately 52 square kilometers. The mountain is named "Eight-Faced Mountain" because it has eight cliffs on its sides.Bamian Mountain is a place where you can enjoy the sunrise and the sea of clouds, fly kites and go camping. It is a favorite gathering spot for photography enthusiasts.
