| Carn Gluze Barrow is also known as Ballowall Barrow. This barrow is located on the west coast of Penwithm, strategically located near the sea. And it is that the construction of these works near the sea or rivers was a recurring theme in these Neolithic societies.
Until 1878 Ballowall Barrow was hidden by the rubble of tin mines. And it was discovered by William Copeland Borlase, a famous antiquarian from Cornwall. |
