Balmoral is a vintage excursion ship owned by MV Balmoral Fund Ltd, a preservation charity. Her principle operational area is the Bristol Channel. The Balmoral is included on the National Historic Ships register as part of the National Historic Fleet. Built by John I, Thornycroft & Company, Woolston Laid down in 1947, launched in June 1949. 688 tonnes, length 62.03m, Beam 9.75m Depth 2.71m. Originally built as a ferry for the Red Funnel Line. Balmoral appeared in the 2018 film The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society, 2017 Another Mothers Son, And the 2019 Film Stan and Ollie.
