The Sunbeam Tiger is an upgrade from the four cylinder powered Alpine. Carroll Shelby had some input into the design and engine. They were built between 1964-1967. The original engine was the Ford 260 V-8 and later models offered a 289 V-8 with a four barrel carburetor. The transmission is a four speed Ford toploader.
