Large-scale shopping complexes are extremely popular and within the Golden Triangle area itself, there are at least seven of them. Located along Jalan Ampang, opposite the Kuala Lumpur City Centre, the six-storey Avenue K ââ¬â one of the newest additions to the cityââ¬â¢s mecca of mammoth malls ââ¬â is an ultra-modern interpretation of the classic American mall. Rubbing shoulders with the well-located Suria KLCC as well as the Petronas Twin Towers has no doubt resulted in Avenue Kââ¬â¢s popularity, but its fame is also due to the depth and quality of retail offerings it proffers that makes it so fashionable and appealing.
