Every afternoon around 4pm hundreds of wild and free Rainbow Lorikeets fly in to the Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary to feed from the tin plates of fruit nectar prepared for them by the rangers. This has been going on for almost 50 years. The colorful birds are native to Australia and make a great tourist destination on the Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia.
