| A mooncake is a Chinese pastry product traditionally eaten during the Mid-Autumn Festival. Typical mooncakes are baked round pastries, with a rich thick filling usually made from red bean or lotus seed paste & may contain salted duck egg yolks. Snow skin mooncakes are a more recent variant to cater for changing taste preferences.
