The temples of arthuna are important in terms of archeology and ancient craftsmanship. many ancient temples and sculptures in arthuna have been excavated which are considered precious and rare in archaeological terms. the construction of these temples was done in the south Indian style. after taking the patronage of the archaeological department in 1956, a large number of sculptures and temples came into existence excavation of this entire area. excellent quality crafts and architecture are seen in these ancient temples. beautiful fine artisans on walls, pillars etc. are adorable. arthuna is known of destroyed hindu and jain religion temples dating back to the 11th, 12th and 15th centuries. it was the capital of the paramara rulers of vagad during the 11 th centuries.
